CCB Through Time
Inspired by the British tradition and strengthened by the International Baccalaureate approach, CCB offers a comprehensive education that combines academic excellence with personal development. Each learning stage is designed to shape students with critical thinking, a global mindset, and a deep sense of responsibility.

1956
1956 First campus in Normandía
Here we see students in art class colouring in the school's first campus, located in Normandía. Accompanied by the teacher, the students are sitting around the tables, integrated and fostering collaboration. Despite being in black and white, it shows a very modern pedagogical model for the time.
1960
1963 (When Pance became our home)
The Corporación Colegio Colombo Británico purchased a 49,622 m² plot of land from the former Hacienda La María, in the rural district of Pance. In the photo, we see the first classrooms of CCB in Pance and the main kiosk for assemblies and events. The imposing silhouette of the Farallones peaks has always been with us as a beautiful backdrop.
1963
1963 (Our first Seniors)
The first graduating class of CCB consisted of 5 students: Lida Esther Urrea, Lucía Gurisatti, Pietro Filesi, María Consuelo Díaz, and Olga Lucía Villegas. They were the Class of 1963 and our first Seniors. Since then, CCB has added +3500 alumni who share a Corazón Colombo.
1977
1977 (We inaugurated the AEB Laurance Auditorium)
Officially inaugurated in 1977 under that name as a tribute to one of our founding partners, Arthur Everhard Butler Laurence, Consul of Great Britain. The Headmaster at that time, John P. Cushnan, said in 1977: “The new auditorium is playing a primary role in transforming the cultural life of the School.”

1980 (We have always liked to play)
Play at CCB is an essential part of the energy that runs through our campus, inside and outside the classroom.
1990
1990 (Lifelong friendships)
Students from the Class of '92 posing together. A very “instagrammable” photo! We know that here at CCB, friendships are born that withstand the passage of time.
1997
1997 (Visit of Princess Anne, sister of King Charles)
On November 30, 1997, we received a visit from Princess Anne, daughter of Elizabeth II and sister of King Charles. This historic meeting was attended by all the teachers and students of the School. Due to the Princess's tight schedule, the School accommodated the visit for the only day she could… a Sunday!
2000
2000 (Overcoming challenges at all ages)
From the little ones to the oldest, our teachers always accompany their students in the learning process. Each challenge overcome is a victory. Whether it's maintaining balance on the mats or entering the university of their dreams.
2010
2010 (A heart that beats on the Court)
At CCB, we are passionate about sports. We teach our athletes to win with humility and lose with dignity. Of course we like to succeed! But there are life lessons that only defeat can give us. And we value those as well because it prepares our hearts for the challenges of the future.

2026 (Love for the arts)
From Music, through theatre, and up to visual arts, at CCB we believe in the power of art to deeply express who we are, what we feel, and what we think. Our musicals are recognised for their quality, the music of our Symphonic Band for its versatility, and our visual arts for their depth.

Each stage of learning is designed to accompany the comprehensive development of students from their first discoveries to the consolidation of their life project.
EARLY CHILDHOOD
Tiny Cubs up to 1st Grade
(From 18 months up
to 6 years old).
An environment that awakens natural curiosity and strengthens emotional security from the early years.
Through play and exploration on our campus, each boy and girl begins to discover the world and their place in it.
PRIMARY
Grades 2nd to 5th
(From 7 years to 10
years of age).
Inquiry guides learning, connecting knowledge with real and meaningful experiences.
Academic, social, and emotional skills that build solid foundations for the future are further developed.
SECONDARY

Sustainability and Future
Our commitment to the environment is not just theory; it is a tangible reality. Through our environmental programme, “Corazón Verde” (Green Heart), we empower our students to transcend simple awareness and assume active leadership, ensuring that sustainability becomes a fundamental part of their identity.
Sustainability forms an integral part of our Strategic Plan. We have undertaken a clean energy project with the installation of a solar panel system that allows us to reduce our impact on the environment.
