Fourteen visionaries gathered at the Biblioteca Departamental in Cali, united by a single bold idea: a British school, bilingual and forward-thinking, rooted in Colombian soil. Their names, as written in the \u201cActa No.1\u201d were: Luis Emilio Sardi, Mario C\u00f3rdoba, Maurice Hannaford, Diego Garc\u00e9s Giraldo, A.E.B Laurence, Alfredo Restrepo Lloreda, Tom Brown, Bernardo Garc\u00e9s C\u00f3rdoba, Jaime Carvajal, Eduardo Garc\u00e9s C\u00f3rdoba, Carlos Esp\u00edndola, Herbert Heller, Lillian C\u00f3rdoba de Holgu\u00edn, Julio H. Calonje, \u00c1lvaro Vallejo O\u2019Byrne, Carlos Tulio Dur\u00e1n, \u00c1lvaro Garc\u00e9s Giraldo, and Jaime Castro.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They debated, they planned, and at half past ten that night, they signed. The Corporaci\u00f3n Colegio Colombo Brit\u00e1nico was born. The School was officially founded on that night and they knew that it was only the start. The beginning of a great British International school in Cali.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What we\u2019ve come to know as our second home. 2026-2027 will be the year to celebrate our past, present and future. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was a June evening in 1956.
